AARCED has an extensive background in the agriculture sector. In 2016, AARCED prepared the baseline study report for the “Jute: Empowered Women Ensured Livelihoods” project under Traidcraft Bangladesh. For the baseline study, AARCED collected data from 320 project beneficiaries. The primary data was collected using a pretested semi-structured household questionnaire. All the survey data was collected through the tablet and Survey CTO platform was used to ensure data quality and data security. Qualitative data was collected through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), In-depth Interviews (IDIs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) to triangulate the quantitative findings and to gather in-depth knowledge about the baseline status. Based on the project data, AARCED carried out data analysis and provided recommendations for the project.
