Senior Accounts Officer

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track the process of recording invoices, preserving appropriate financial paperwork, bookkeeping, and maintaining records of the organization's bank account(s)
  • Carry out and keep records of monthly payments and ascertain that the transactions are made properly
  • Ensure availability of adequate liquidity for the payment of the daily expenses of the organization
  • Prepare periodic financial reports for the official meetings, or as per requirement
  • Record and maintain the inventory and physical property of the organization while updating them regularly
  • Carry out strategic as well as day-to-day operational planning
  • Complete additional relevant accounting, financial, and administrative tasks as instructed by top management
  • Good knowledge of TAX and VAT related issues. Comply with TDS and VDS and deposit to government treasury on time and confirm the issue of TDS and VAT certificate.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor or equivalent degree in Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as Google applications such as Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Strong communications skills, both in English and Bangla
  • Strong writing and presentation slide preparation abilities, as well as attention to detail, are necessary
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with the team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with a diverse spectrum of stakeholders, as well as a track record of creating and maintaining relationships
  • Excellent skills in accounting software and relevant computer applications
  • Self-motivated and capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision
