Intern - Procurement & Logistics
Roles and Responsibilities :
Assist in preparing and monitoring procurement plans for the office and projects.
Support the preparation of tender documents, including RFQs, ITBs, RFPs, RFIs, and EOIs.
Draft Pro-forma invoices and contract documents for approval by the Procurement Authority.
Help review bid documents, contracts, purchase orders, and evaluation results.
Ensure compliance with ARCED's Financial Regulations, Rules, and Procurement Manual.
Prepare weekly requisition status reports to track progress.
Monitor shipment progress and coordinate timely deliveries for ARCED and its clients.
Build effective relationships with project staff and support their procurement needs.
Facilitate timely clearance, delivery, and handover of goods and consignments.
Required skills and interests:
Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management/Business/Public Administration or related field.
Strong skill in MS Office applications, especially Excel as well as equivalent G-Suits.
Strong communication skills, both in English and Bangla.
Strong writing and presentation slide preparation abilities, as well as attention to detail, are necessary.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Capability to work under pressure.
Supply Chain Management and/or other Procurement Practitioner Certification would be considered a significant asset.
