As Manager - Admin & HR, S M Nafiz Manjur performs and supervises various Admin, HR and Procurement related tasks in the office and project operations. He also supports the recruitment, procurement, finance, and hiring aspects of project implementations, and provides advice and technical support on HR policies and administrative procedures to all staff members. Nafiz served as Asst. Manager – HR at Norp Knit Industries Ltd., a concern of Pearl Global Ind. Ltd., an Indian multinational garments manufacturing organization in Bangladesh. He has over 08 years of experience in various HR domains and skills, such as manpower sourcing, recruitment, compensation, performance appraisal, employee engagement, training, development and employee exit. Prior to that, he worked as a Data Management Assistant at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Bangladesh from July 2012 to November 2015. He provided support to research projects in the field and country office, which involved field management, documentation, monitoring, supervising, liaison, and data collection. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from East West University. He was the General Secretary of the East West University Photography Club and participated in photography workshops and field trips for three consecutive years. He also attended various trainings on fire safety and civil defense, as well as a factory improvement program, from 2016 to 2020. Recently, he completed another training on Workplace Safeguarding organized by BRAC in February 2023. He has technical skills in various software, such as ERP (Hono HR, KORMEE & PI-HR), Microsoft Office, and Photoshop.
