Mr. Anik currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, LMU Munich. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics, University of Warwick, UK in 2018. Previously, he completed M.A., Economics, University of British Columbia, Canada in 2009 and B.S. in Economics at North South University, Bangladesh,in 2007. He has worked as Teaching Fellow (part-time) in University of Warwick from the years 2016 – 2018 and has been the In-country Economist (Bangladesh) of International Growth Centre (IGC) from 2010 to 2012. Currently, some of his works are in-progress in the sector of economic development like- “(S) Weathering the Storm: Firing and Productivity in a Bangladeshi Sweater Factory” and “Managing Shocks: Firm Productivity in the Bangladeshi Garment Sector”. He has also published several papers on the topics like-- “Pilot Intervention of Improved Cook Stoves in Rural Areas: Assessment of Effects on Fuel Use, Smoke Emission and Health”, Research Monograph Series 53, BRAC Research and Evaluation Division, July 2012 (with Mushfiq Mobarak, Grant Miller, Nepal C.
