George M. Roy is an experienced professional who brings years of administrative experience to his role as a Manager Admin & HR at ARCED Foundation. His administrative experience includes Office Management, Human Resources, and Accounting. He assists in the development and implementation of organization policies and procedures; manages and oversees the administration of HR policies, programs, and practices within the organization; he also works with the accounting and management teams to forecast and set budgets, monitor expenditures, payables, receivables, and monthly billing activities along with taxation and legal affairs.
George oversees the day-to-day administrative functions of ARCED Foundation's operations, monitors the different projects run by the organization funded by the World Bank, GAIN, BRCI, Yale University, etc. He also serves as a liaison with the organization’s Senior Management Team (SMT), and the Research and Development (R&D) teams.
George began his career in the Supply Chain and Logistic Department in 2011 as a Customer Service Officer for a multinational medicine company Sanofi Bangladesh Ltd. Upon joining a renowned multi-cuisine restaurant in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman named Royal House Restaurant LLC in 2014, George was awarded the position of Administrative Manager, where his diverse responsibilities included overseeing the company's human resources, billing, bookkeeping functions, budgeting and cost controls, profit and growth strategies, and optimum profitability. After finishing his journey in the Sultanate he moved back to Bangladesh and started working as a Chief Administrative Manager at the Khulna Technical Training Academy in 2018. There he dealt with detailed business plans, assist in finding prospects and leads, researches operational data and monthly financial results, coordinate student and staff activities to offer suitable solutions.
George is a student of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Glasgow, United Kingdom. He's also a Business graduate from the National University of Bangladesh and currently studying MBA with a focus on human resource management at The International University of Scholars.
His technical skills/competencies also entail different software such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software (SAP, Tally), Restaurant POS System. He also has expertise in Office Application software, Graphic Design software, etc. He has vast knowledge in Digital Marketing to boost an organization's sales. He is very good at managing online pages to obtain the benefits of online-based sales and elevate the organization's overall growth every year and thereafter.
