Hirokazu Yoshikawa is currently a Professor at Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, New York University. Hirokazu Yoshikawa is a developmental and community psychologist who focuses on the ways in which immigration, early education, and efforts to alleviate poverty all influence the growth and development of children. He studies both high and low-income regions of the United States. In addition, he studies American youth and young adults' cultural, sexual, and developmental processes within the context of GSAs (gender and sexuality alliances).
