Nusrat Jahan Rysa is a successful entrepreneur, skill development professional, fashion engineer, and voice artist who started her career in the field of engineering. Later, she got herself engaged in the field of development, research, and publication work. She is the co-founder and Secretary of ARCED Foundation.

Besides social causes and initiatives, in recent times Ms. Rysa has introduced herself as a Fashion Engineer in a lifestyle product brand named 'Puran'. Here she is working on product development with the indigenous communities of Bangladesh as well as promoting the ethical purchase and responsible consumption. Apart from her commendable fashion creations, she has also been working as a fashion consultant. Moreover, she also has led diverse teams of professionals, designed interventions, and facilitated a number of training programs.

Nusrat Jahan Rysa is a postgraduate from Daffodil International University in the discipline of Textile Engineering. She has achieved a Post-Graduation Diploma from the University of Manitoba and Institute of Governance Studies, Brac University in Environmental Management and Governance. She has received training from Voice of America in broadcasting.

In the year of 2012, she joined a leadership program and won ‘The Best Paper Award’ from UNNISULA, Indonesia for her paper on ‘Governance and development: what can be the solution?’ She is the National winner of Get in the Ring award, 2018, and later led ARCED
