Sebastian Fehrler

Professor

Sebastian Fehrler joined the University of Bremen, SOCIUM, as Professor of Economics in 2020. He studied Statistics (BSc, HU Berlin) and Economics (MSc, U Nottingham; PhD, U Zurich), spent a year as a visiting postdoc at the Center for Experimental Social Sciences at NYU, and worked as an assistant professor at the University of Konstanz. His research interests are in the fields of public, development, organizational and behavioral economics. He uses game theory and experiments (lab and field) to address his research questions. His primary areas of focus are decision-making and communication in groups, and the evaluation of social-policy interventions.
