Shirsha Songshoptak

Research Assistant

Shirsha Songshoptak completed his Bachelor's in urban planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and is currently working as a research assistant in ARCED Foundation. While working on his undergraduate which thesis focuses on environmental planning and evaluation, he developed a keen interest in environmental economics and policy. He is currently working with Dr Martin Mattsson, Assistant Professor, National University of Singapore, Teevrat Garg, Associate Professor, UC San Diego, and Maulik Jagnani, Assistant Professor, TUFTS University in an RCT involving the adoption and use of air purifiers in tackling indoor air pollution. His duties entail the preparation of survey instruments (questionnaires, protocols, manuals, etc.) and data collection, monitoring, preparation, and analysis using tools and softwares such as G-suite, MS Office, SurveyCTO, STATA, etc.
