Zahirul Islam has been with the ARCED Foundation for the past eight years. Currently, he has been working as a Senior Project Associate. Over the course of this time, he has managed over 60 projects. He earned a master's degree in development studies and an MBA with a focus on human resource management. In the web-based training course "Protecting Human Research Participants," he received a credential from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Extramural Research.
He has the ability to give broad-based survey projects with thorough, fast, and accurate research answers. He knows how to use various statistical tools (SPSS, STATA), database software (CSPro, Microsoft Access), web development (HTML5, WordPress, Joomla), electronic data collection (Open Data Kit-ODK, SurveyCTO), and graphics design software (Illustrator, Photoshop), among other things. He has extensive experience in data entry template/database design and development, data entry, data cleaning and checking, and data processing, data management, and statistical data analysis. He was the primary person responsible for monitoring the data collection in real time for all projects on the SurveyCTO platform.
