Zamir Ticknor

Zamir Ticknor is a Research & Data intern at ARCED Foundation and an aspiring international development practitioner studying honors Economics, Peace and Conflict Studies, and Arabic at Swarthmore College in the United States. With a strong academic background and practical experience across multiple contexts, Zamir is dedicated to and passionate about addressing global development challenges and exploring how data-driven solutions can contribute to these conversations. At ARCED, Zamir is supporting data cleaning, analysis, and/or proper survey management and implementation of multiple projects, including an RCT involving the adoption and use of air purifiers in tackling indoor air pollution and an impact evaluation of an intervention aimed at improving the targeting of a Bangladesh social protection program. At ARCED, Zamir is eager to expand his knowledge and expertise, deepening his quantitative and qualitative analysis skills via practical experiences, further enhancing his ability to contribute effectively to the field of international development.
