Survey of bidders of public contracts for the impact evaluation of the electronic government procurement system (e-GP)

ARCED Foundation provided capacity to conduct surveys in a total of sixteen districts, two from each division. To conduct the survey of the designated sample size of 600 bidders, ARCED formed four survey teams consisting of seven surveyors and one supervisor.

The teams were thoroughly trained on the questionnaire provided by the World Bank. Following the training and orientation, ARCED prepared relevant field plans and data quality control protocols and deployed the teams to collect data in the fields. After processing and cleaning the data, field reports were also developed by ARCED to send to The World Bank.

Methodology

Review the project documents, prepare field plan and quality control protocols, recruiting and training for the survey, preparation field report, data processing and cleaning, and submit the final data set.
